The Business Development Executive will prospect new business by advertising, cold calling, networking, cold calling, or other methods of producing interest from potential clients. Then you will design persuasive approaches and proposals to convert potential clients into business customers. By presenting new solutions and services to clients, you will develop and maintain existing accounts. Working with sales, technical staff, and mid and senior level management facilitates managing the activities of workers charged with developing business for the corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Implement business development programs to achieve business objectives locally and in the region by carrying out arrange of activities including:
    • Market research and identifying and evaluating new business prospects,
    • Carry out sales tasks and follow up,
    • Leasing and negotiating with suppliers,
    • Coordinating selling strategies and activities with sales agents,
  • Assist regional managers on new business pitches, including research, preparing proposals, preparing contracts and follow up clients,
  • Follow instructions and carry out assorted marketing and sales tasks assigned by the marketing Manager,
  • Assist with negotiations or resolution of customer issues,
  • Research, develop and report on solutions for business problems,
  • Take part in marketing and business planning tasks.

Requirements

  • S1 degree in Marketing / Business / Information Technology / Engineering from a recognized university,
  • Track record in sales and/ or marketing of IT / mobile / internet products / services,
  • Understanding of mobile and / or internet technology, services and markets an advantage,
  • Must be effectively bilingual English & Indonesian with excellent written and oral skills. Must be able to communicate confidently with people in other countries by email and telephone,
  • Must have strong networking, interpersonal, communication, presentation and leadership skills with the ability to work with different cultures,
  • Needs a “ can do” attitude & the ability handle changes and be flexible,
  • Must be able to quickly understand business objectives and plans and how to implement them,
  • Must be thorough, able to follow instructions through to completion and follow up effectively and have a sense of responsibility.
  • Must possess excellent organization and planning skills as well as creative problem solving skills,
  • Must possess the ambition to grow and improve, with a strong desire to perform and excel and have a high level of independence.
