  • Prepares and conducts software product validations and tests in accordance with organization standards and procedures,
  • Participates in bench marking software performance and providing best recommendation in improving performance,
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of computer software technology and other related areas,
  • Uses established fact-finding procedures, knowledge work processes and procedures, and familiarity with related software,
  • Effectively communicate analysis of performance test results,
  • Participates in analyzing changes and new features to the product, recommending appropriate test strategies,
  • Perform efficient UI, functional, integration and load testing through out the SDLC phase,
  • Prepares test data for testing,
  • Should work very closely with the other department team,
  • Should participate in preparing server/VM for internal testing,
  • Should participate in preparing server scaling specifications as per software bench marking,
  • Should participate in sharing knowledge and documentations,
  • Keeps abreast of and implement new systems, tools and techniques in the related software areas,
  • Responds to corporate customer inquiries and problem solving in a professional and effective fashion,
  • Provide feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns,
  • Builds effective working relationships with Development, Operations, Sales and Marketing and Telco,
  • Conduct technical document review.


  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering and similar,
  • Experience 1 year and more in related positions,
  • Prior experience in the wireless software industry would be preferred,
  • Good understanding of QA/QC Methodologies and best practices,
  • Good understanding of web, desktop and mobile technologies,
  • Ability to develop test plans,
  • SQL Database skills,
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge in different operating systems, preferably in Linux variants,
  • Knowledge in JBoss Application Server and Administration,
  • Familiarity with multiple tools that are used for testing, especially open source technologies,
  • Good oral and written communication skills,
  • Experience in security testing is a plus,
  • Ability to develop test reports.
